A lawful development certificate was granted for permitted development works to convert the loft to this semi detached bungalow in Bexleyheath. The works included the hip to gable loft conversion, rear dormer and roof lights. The finished design included two spacious double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and rooflights.
The new staircase allowed for the ceiling to be locally removed which created a bright and spacious entrance hall. Rooflights were installed to ensure that the area was flooded with natural light.
Planning permission was also granted for a single storey rear extension to create an open plan kitchen, dining and seating area. This included internal alterations to create a downstairs bathroom, WC and utility room. The plans also included a design for the front garden and parking for 2 cars. The works for this stage have not yet commenced.
